Song Creations: Bow Down (Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya) I thought to start a new series of videos that highlight the magic of song creation in all its various forms. This song has a longer journey. It started possibly around 15 years ago. In Australia in 2024, after performing and inspired by the Bellingen Lovefest, it took on some new lyrics. The video and acoustic demo was made on Bruney Island, Tasmania in November 2024. The song then travelled across the magical rainbow bridge to Germany. Here it was performed as part of the Nürnberger Nacht der spirituelle Lieder in February 2025 with a bunch of wild hearted Life Lovers. Living a simple life sometimes feels like a radical act, amidst the hyper-expansion of our modern techno world. The song was born amidst the rising energies of spring in my homelands of Australia in 2022. I had spent several months listening to the ancient heart of country and had a deep sense of the land itself carrying the seed of the New Earth, an impulse of renewal and restoration. The New Earth for me is an affirmation of our belonging within the heart of creation, a return to the essential value and gift of life.
